Police were called at 1:20 a.m. to a home for a reported burglary in progress. As officers arrived on scene and approached the house, they reportedly could see people inside the house. Officers entered the house and saw someone armed with a hammer attempting to attack another person. Officers shot and killed the person with the hammer.
