About 10:40 p.m., Quartzsite police received calls of two houses on fire in El Mirage RV Park in Quartzsite. About an hour later, Quartzsite police and two DPS troopers located the man near a Burger King. He led them to a nearby place where he'd allegedly set up an ambush. He was shot and killed in an exchange of gunfire.
