Officers were called around 4:20 a.m. to a self-storage facility. Someone at the business reported there was a man on the property who was armed with a knife. Officers arrived and found a man with a machete. Officers tried to arrest the man, but he did not comply, and they tasered him. The man reportedly threatened officers, and two officers shot and killed him.
