Deadly force

Police responded to a call around 4:18 p.m. in reference to a man in his 20s wanting to take his own life. When police arrived, the man had locked himself inside a house. He was taken to an area hospital after police apprehended him, where he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. During the course of the investigation, police learned that it appeared the man shot and killed a woman in her 20s.
