Name withheld by police

Suicide

At about 5:30 p.m., police received information on a person who was wanted on several warrants was in the area. Those warrants were grand theft, auto theft, aggravated fleeing and eluding and driving with suspended license. Officers arrived and found the person inside his other. Police blocked the other, at which point the person drew a handgun. An officer fired a single shot missing him. After the shot was fired, the person pointed the gun at his head and shot and killed himself.
