A 48-year-old woman first shot a 40-year-old man about 7:10 p.m. After shooting the man, the woman barricaded herself inside the home as police arrived to remove her. The standoff ended about 12:15 A.M. when police entered the home and found the woman dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
