At around 12:45 a.m., 41-year-old Officer Jordan Herzog was driving a marked Orange City Police Department SUV on Enterprise Road southbound in "emergency mode," while reportedly responding to a call. The woman was crossing the road when the officer who was driving struck and killed her with the SUV.
