Around 11:30 a.m., police reportedly saw an unidentified driver run through a red light at a high rate of speed on the access road of IH-35. pursued them. During the chase, the car made a turn and lost control and slid sideways. The driver drove into a wooden privacy fence and crashed into an oak tree and was killed.
