Officers responded to a home for a report of a domestic-related shooting at about 8:15 p.m. Police tried to communicate with a 30-year-old man who was behind the home armed with a handgun. Officers went inside the home and found a 30-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the head. Her 2-year-old son was with her. The man fatally shot himself in the head.
