Suicide

Police in Maple Plain attempted to pull a man over for speeding and driving erratically. The man continued driving, passing through multiple jurisdictions before being knocked off the road by a Ramsey County sheriff deputy at North McKnight Road. Two shots reportedly were fired from the driver's seat. As officers approached, the man appeared to be unconscious from a head wound. Police said he fatally shot himself.
