Around 2:45 p.m, police said they received a call that a hit and run suspect was at a hotel and they responded. When police arrived, they knocked on the door, the man opened it with the latch still on, and police said they saw a gun. Around 9:15 p.m. the bomb squad sent in a robot after losing contact with the man for two hours and found that he had shot and killed himself.
