Officers spotted a other being driven recklessly at excessive speeds and attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but reportedly ended the pursuit due to the excessive speeds. The driver lost control of the other, police said, crashing into a tree. The occupants -- a 22-year-old man and a 20-year-old man -- were killed.
