An unidentified man being pursued by police was killed when he ran in front of a semi-truck on Interstate 40 near Moriarty, police said. A police officer attempted to stop the man's other one mile west of Moriarty because he matched the description of an individual being sought by the Torrance County Sheriff's Department in connection with a burglary.
