Deadly force

A deputy was called to a home about 1:30 p.m. because of reports that a man had been threatening to harm himself. When the deputy arrived, he spoke with the man through the small window of a side door, but the man became agitated. The man reportedly before burst through the door with a large butcher knife in each hand. He allegedly lunged at the deputy, who shot and killed him.
