Deadly force
Police responded shortly after 10 a.m. for a reported domestic disorder. The reporting party said the suspect was destroying her room. Once police arrived, they encountered a person who demonstrated erratic behavior. Mykel Dexter Jenkins allegedly produced a weapon fashioned to look and function as a knife. Officers shot and killed Jenkins.
