Deadly force
Called to a report of a woman threatening suicide and shooting into the air, police shot Ritchie after shooting her 20-year-old daughter. Police believed her daughter, who was holding a cell phone, was the threat and shot her. Another officer heard the shots and thought it was Ritchey who fired, and he shot and killed Ritchey.
