How they died

Third-term student at Shahrekord Technical College, shot directly in the head and neck area during protests at Falake Abi (Blue Circle) in Shahrekord. Family was pressured by security agencies after his death. Body was only released to family after written commitment from father to have maximum 10 people at burial ceremony. Funeral held at night at 11 PM. Death certificate listed cause of death as 'impact of hard object to head and neck' - a euphemism used instead of direct reference to gunshot.
