On January 8, 2026, while participating in anti-government protests in the Maskan Bazaar area, he was shot by plainclothes security forces. Severely wounded and bleeding, he was taken into custody and died during transport due to the severity of his injuries. His body was later abandoned on a highway and subsequently buried under tight security at Bagh-e Ferdows Cemetery. His death highlights the dangers faced by minors during political unrest in Iran and has been condemned as a gross violation of human rights.
