Despite being rushed to the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah with a severe chest injury, he succumbed to his wounds. His killing occurred amid a day of intense violence in the Ramallah area, during which multiple Palestinians were injured, ambulances and journalists were targeted, and two other Palestinians — Adham Fayez Mousa Kashef and Islam Wael Burnat — were also killed by Israeli army fire.
