Deputies said they responded around 9 p.m. to a reported break-in at Rick's Garage. Millard Griffin reportedly fled through the broken window and escaped the area. Deputies said they called a tracking dog to try to locate him, but could not. At around 11:40 p.m., deputies responded to Manila Street and Division Avenue on a report of a man in the street, and found Griffin suffering from medical problems with no shirt and wet pants. Griffin died of hypothermia. The next morning police reportedly found clothing and a cell phone next to a nearby creek.
