Shot from behind with direct gunfire by Islamic Republic forces while going to help an injured person during protests. Body identified in Kahrizak. Family confirmed baton marks on his head, but body was not wounded elsewhere - cause of death was gunshot from behind. Was unmarried and described as kind, passionate, good-hearted and humanitarian who stepped forward to help an injured person instead of fleeing.
