At Rest

Shot directly in the stomach from a rooftop in Nazi Abad. The bullet went through his body. Body was not returned to family initially. Kept for 5 days on the ground in the courtyard at Kahrizak. Authorities demanded 1.7 billion (tomans) as 'bullet fee' to return the body, threatening to bury him as their own martyr if family couldn't pay. Family was threatened that if they protested, the body would be taken somewhere no one could find it. Described as someone who loved life, worked, and was very kind.
