Officers saw a other blow through a red light near the Ferguson-Berkley border. They turned on emergency lights and followed the other but when they could not find the fleeing other, they reportedly turned off their lights. The men who police said they weren't following, Mikel Neil Sr., 49, and Townsal Woolfolk, 59, were killed in the high speed crash. The prosecutor's office declined to charge the officers, but Officers Alex Maloy and Mark Jakob were fired for misleading investigators.
