Deadly force
Police were investigating a murder. Detectives went to a Des Moines apartment to prepare a sting operation when two teenage boys walked out of the apartment and allegedly pulled out handguns. The youths ran, and Mi'Chance Dunlap-Gittens, who was not involved in the homicide, was shot and killed. Questions about the validity of evidence were raised.
