Police responded to a domestic disturbance and found 29-year-old Whitney Kugelman's body near a breezeway. Investigators evacuated the building after learning the man was inside. A SWAT team was called around 7:15 a.m. to negotiate with the man, later identified as Michael J. Nesse. SWAT team officers entered the unit after hearing a single gunshot coming from inside. Neese's body was found in a bedroom.
