Michael Nehez reportedly called police and told them he had murdered his wife two days earlier and didn't know what he would do next. Police officers, including a SWAT team, responded and formed a perimeter around the Nehez home. An hours long standoff ensued, until the SWAT team breached the front door. Dressed in a t-shirt and underwear and armed with 9-inch kitchen knife, Nehez charged at the officers. Three officers shot and killed Nehez.
