At least one trooper pursued a Yamaha motorcycle beginning around 2:52 p.m. The motorcyclist, Michael Beaver, continued to travel on the parkway and onto I-65, entering at 91 mile marker. After exiting I-65 three miles further northbound, Beaver lost control on the off ramp, crashed and was killed.
