Deadly force
Two Somerville police officers responded to a 911 call that said Michael Morris had a knife and was intoxicated and suicidal. When the officers arrived, Morris took out the knife and threatened them. According to police, the officers tried to subdue him using nonlethal force, but shot and killed him when he came at them with the knife.
