Police said around 5 a.m. a 911 caller said they could hear a female screaming. As officers arrived, dispatch told them the suspect was was leaving in an SUV. The officers spotted and pursued it. Police said the driver disregarded the railroad crossing arms at Main St/Middlebury St., then collided with a parked car and the Post Office building. The driver of the other was killed.
