Deadly force
About 11 p.m., deputies were called to a home for a domestic disturbance. Officers say the victim was leaving the house with her two children and going to a neighbors home to protect herself from the dangers of physical harm from her husband. When deputies arrived, Matthew J. Morse walked out of the house brandishing a handgun. Officers ordered him to drop the weapon and he failed to do so. Deputies shot and killed him.
