Officers were dispatched on a call of a suicidal man with a gun at about 12:15 p.m. to a parking structure. The man, Matthew Hilbelink, was armed with a handgun.Police say they attempted to negotiate with the armed man for about 30 minutes before something happened, and they fired shots at Hilbelink. He died of his injuries three days later.
