Fort Riley soldier Matthew Peachey died after crashing his other on I-70 near Abilene while fleeing KHP troopers. According to the patrol, a trooper tried to stop Peachey's 2011 Mazda Hatchback for speeding, but he fled. The car left the roadway and struck a cement culvert in a ditch.
