Maryam Pazark was a 10-year-old Iranian primary school student living in Minab. She attended Shajareh Tayyebeh Primary School, where she studied alongside many other young students. On the morning of 1 March 2026, the school was struck by missiles during an air strike amid escalating regional conflict. Maryam was among the children killed in the attack, which caused widespread devastation and drew international attention.
Maryam Pazark was a young student from Minab, a city located in Iran’s southern Hormozgan Province. At the age of 10, she was attending primary school and spending her days learning basic subjects and participating in school activities with classmates.
