Memphis and Bartlett tried to stop 19-year-old Johnny Landon, whom they said had active warrants for aggravated assault. Landon stopped briefly, then hit a Bartlett squad car and fled. Memphis Police pursued Landon's other but said they lost sight of him. Landon crashed into another other, killing the driver, Marvin Honey.
