Deadly force

Police responded to reports of a disturbance in which the reporting party told officers a male neighbor, who may have a weapon, was banging on the residence. An officer then contacted the man, who police said did not comply with orders and reached for the gun in his waistband. He was shot and killed by Officer Shawn Michels.
