An officer attempted to pull over Deontay Smith for playing loud music at 8:23 p.m. When the pursuit reached dangerous speeds, and Smith refused to pull over, the chase reportedly was called off. Smith's Dodge Charger hit the Chevy Yukon Robby Taylor, 62, and Martha Jean Taylor, 61, were in at 8:51 p.m. and sent it into a tree where it burst into flames, killing both of them.
