Suicide

Deputies were called to a residence on Gates Street for a report a male threatening to shoot law enforcement and himself. Deputies blocked off the street and at that time a shot was fired and struck the rear bumper of a Deputy other. Police said they continued for several hours trying to make contact with the man. They were eventually able to get a robot in the front door of the home and saw a man deceased on the kitchen floor from an apparent gunshot wound.
