Woodstock's brother called 911 to report that his brother was "mentally ill, off of his medications and acting frantic, hostile, and aggressive." "He told cops that Woodstock had grabbed a knife and was stabbing holes in tires outside. He begged Sunrise Police to use the Baker Act to forcibly commit his brother to a mental institution." Police said that when they found him, he had a knife, ran, and ignored orders to stop. They report that a stun gun and police dog used did not subdue him even though . Officer Gregory Loor shot and killed him.
