Maria Carrion-Adame was killed and 10 others were injured when an allegedly stolen car fleeing police struck a van in the Englewood neighborhood on Chicago's South Side. According to police, three people in an allegedly stolen other sped away from officers at about 5:45 p.m. Police chased the car until it ran a stop sign and crashed into a van carrying 11 people. Carrion-Adame died at a hospital a short time later.
