Officers responded to a home on the report of a domestic situation with a gun. Police said when they arrived, they encountered Marc Dominic Neal armed with a handgun. Police tried to de-escalate the confrontation for 12 minutes, until Neal raised the handgun in direction of police. Six officers shot and killed Neal. The handgun turned out to be a replica revolver pellet gun.
