Suicide

Gonzales tried to rape his daughter, then threatened to kill her and the rest of the family if they told anyone. Later, armed with two handguns and a knife, he drove to Taqueria del Sol to attack his daughter and kill himself. Sergeant D. Vega and Officer R. Cruz intercepted Gonzales's other and conducted a felony traffic stop. Gonzales shot himself fatally in the head.
