Mandana Salari

Mandana Salari was a 29-year-old resident of Minab, a coastal city in southern Iran. While specific details about her occupation or family life are not widely reported, she was among the civilians affected by the devastating attack on Shajareh Tayyebeh Primary School.

On the morning of 1 March 2026, missiles struck the school during an air strike amid the regional conflict involving Iran and foreign military forces. Witnesses reported that after the first explosion hit the school, teachers and staff attempted to move students to safer areas inside the building. Shortly afterward, a second missile reportedly struck the location where many people had gathered, including students, staff members, and some family members who had arrived after the first explosion. The second strike caused heavy casualties.

Mandana Salari was among the civilians killed in the attack. Her name was later included in lists compiled by media organizations documenting victims of the strike. In the days following the tragedy, large funeral ceremonies were held in Minab, where community members mourned the loss of children and civilians killed in the incident.
