Mahmoud Fayez Abu Ayhour was a 27-year-old Palestinian from Halhoul town, north of Hebron. On June 9, 2022, he was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers during a military invasion of his village. Although protests broke out in response to the invasion, Mahmoud was reportedly not participating and was working at a nearby construction site when soldiers opened fire indiscriminately.
