Dartmouth police officers responded to a 911 caller who told operators a man had entered his ex-girlfriend's apartment and damaged her television and computer. When Roman arrived at the apartment complex, officers said he was ordered to get out of his other with his hands up. However, police said he grabbed one of two guns he was carrying and fired two shots. At that point, officers said they shot Roman.
