Mobley's other was stopped by Lt. Dan Dorey after the officer noticed the pickup being driven in an erratic manner. Mobley reportedly got out of the pickup, shouting obscenities, and threatened Dorey and backup officer Terry Durborow. Dorey shot and killed him.
