Officers were evicting a tenant around 2:30 p.m., and a man started shooting at them. A woman died in the exchange of gunfire and Grand Forks Police Officer Cody Holte, 29, was killed, and a Grand Forks County Deputy was injured. The man, allegedly Salamah Pendleton, was also injured.
