Lemuel Bunn

Deadly force

Lemuel Bunn's girlfriend called 911 and reported that Bunn had been holding her a knifepoint since the previous evening. Police responded by breaking into Bunn's apartment where Bunn had his hand around his girlfriend's neck with a knife to her throat. The girlfriend was bleeding from a knife wound. Bunn refused to drop the weapon as ordered, and one of the officers shot Bunn several times, killing him.
