Police officers stopped Leigh Weeden for a traffic violation, but he fled in his Hummer until he eventually got stuck in a field. When the officers approached Weeden, he grabbed a gun from the Hummer and fired several shots at the officers. The officers returned fire, killing Weeden, who had lengthy criminal record in multiple states and was on federal parole.
