Suicide

Cummings matched the description of a robber at an AT&T store in Weatherford that had been reported earlier in the week. About 7:45 p.m., an officer spotted Cummings and tried to stop him. Cummings drove away, and after a seven-minute pursuit, the car Cummings hit a curb. He ran from the other. An officer drove up beside him and ordered Cummings to the ground. Cummings put a gun to his head and fired it, police said.
