Deadly force
A woman at a home at the Four Seasons Adult Community reported that her husband was armed and threatening to commit suicide to police. When police arrived, around 7:15 p.m., the man had left the home and was reportedly on foot with a handgun. A Fairfax County police helicopter found the man, who had been in a wooded area, as he walked back to the home. Officers encountered him near the front door. Five officers shot and killed him.
